Ok, so Real hasn't exactly succeeded in the internet media market. After failing to lock people into THEIR proprietary systems, they are finding ways to be compatible with everyone elses. There's nothing wrong with that in my opinion, but it does say a lot about the company and their ability to produce a decent product that attracts loyal users. Heres a link to their latest campaign.
Also, they are launching a huge sale on songs and albums. Mostly 50 cents per song and $5 per album. Not a bad deal. They are claiming "harmony" will make the songs compatible with the iPod. however, I checked into the site and it seems that harmony and the real audio store are not mac compatible. So much for giving people choice!
