Long, long ago there used to be a fellow in Canada, James MacPhail or something like that, who would install an FPU inside your duo for you, for some ungodly amount of money. A google shows up a few references to this, but there doesn't appear to be an explanation of how it was done. Anyone have any idea how this was being attached? Seems there'd hardly be much room to add much in there, so I doubt there was much in the way of custom circuitry, so it seems likely it was mostly a question of connecting it to the right places.
Any thoughts on this? I have an 68882 FPU lying around, although I'm not sure its really worth the effort to stick it in my new Duo 230, it's still an intriguing thought.
