I am going to assume that by being a member of MacMod you already have a general understanding for appropriate behavior in a forum. However, if for some reason you are unsure, here is the forum policy that all members are subject to, regardless.

MacMod.com Forum Policy

The purpose of this forum is to allow all of the members to chat in a free environment. You can use this forum to discusss your mods, other people's mods, ideas, or whatever is on your mind. These forums are for your use.

In keeping with our privacy policy, MacMod does not release any information about your identity to other users of our site unless we are required to do so by a court order or as part of an official police investigation. But in the event that you post something illegal, and the police do get involved, you should realize that we may be required to release information that could be used to track you down. Again, think before you post.

Here are our rules that you agree to be bound by when using the Forums:

The Obvious Ones

You may not harass, abuse, threaten, or advocate violence against other users or individuals or groups.
You must stay on topic in the topical Forums
You may not post content that is harmful to minors.
You may not post content that is in violation of federal or state law.
You may not use The Forum for commercial or advertising purposes.
You may not post content which infringes the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of third parties.

If you think that there is a message on the Forum that is libelous, constitutes impersonation or otherwise violates our Forum Policy and should therefore be deleted, please send an email to admin@macmod.com. Please make sure to include the exact URL (web address) of the post or posts to which you are referring. Just giving us the title of the post is often not enough for us to understand what you are talking about. We take libel and impersonation very seriously, and we always follow up on deletion request messages as fast as we can.

Right to Move, Edit or Delete Posts

While we do not and cannot review every message posted in the forums and are not responsible for the content of these messages, we reserve the right to remove or edit messages that we deem abusive, defamatory, obscene, libelous, in violation of copyright or trademark laws, or otherwise unacceptable. We reserve the right to delete any message from the forums for any reason without the consent of the author or any other party. We also reserve the right to remove the posting privileges of users who violate the standards of forum behavior at any time.

Noncommercial Use Only

MacMod's forums can be used only in a noncommercial manner. You cannot, without the approval of MacMod, post to the forums any material containing a solicitation of funds, advertising or solicitation of goods or services. Posting links to Internet "referral" or affiliate programs to the MacMod forums is not allowed and is often against the terms of use of these programs.

"Spamming" the Forums

Repeatedly posting off-topic messages or "spamming" our forums by posting the same message in multiple areas or otherwise deliberately disrupting our forums is unacceptable behavior that may result in the user's losing all forum privileges and access to the site. We reserve the right to prohibit users who in any way violate acceptable forum behavior from participating in our discussions. Users remain solely responsible for the content of their messages.

Your Acceptance of These Terms

By using MacMod's forums, you signify your assent to the The MacMod Forum Policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our forums. Your continued use of MacMod's forums following the posting of changes to these terms will mean you accept those changes.
