How can you tell a new post from an old one? That is to say at the old hangout there would usually be a NEW attached to a 'new' post, but I don't see that here. Same forum software, so that feature should be possible, right? I also want to be able to turn off the thing where replies to a thread make that whole thread float to the top of the forum again. I mean that is okay, but I would be happier if I could disable that by choice. My method of going through the forum is to read the newest threads and then check older threads as I get to them for any new responses since I last checked the thread. This is not a complaint, I just want to know if I can use the forum that way as it would suit my browsing style better.
