Received my Tiger software today (yay) but the installer/upgrade has failed so far. I tried googling for help but too early, I guess.

When I start the Tiger installer, it asks me to restart, and it boots up with the Installer (hope that didn't confuse). The upgrade is straightforward, but for me it fails after it verifies the DVD, as it's "Verifying destination volume" (I'm upgrading my existing 10.3.9). It gets stuck there for about 5 minutes with the progress bar at about 2mm:

then goes straight to "There were errors installing the software ... Please try installing again" with a restart button:

Sorry about the rotated image - camera phone. Any suggestions?.. Thanks!

Steven

--
http://www.stevenkimband.com/
