LCD is much better for producing sharp images... everything is always razor sharp, there is zero bluring. They're great for text. CRT is better for color reproduction. As for which are easier on the eyes... after using a PowerBook G3 for a year I found that it was *much* easier to use a 21" Apple Studio Display, which I recently sold and bought Apple's new 15" and 17" LCDs instead... my one gripe with LCDs is how bright they can be, which isn't always easy on the eyes.

But they're so much smaller and look so much cooler. You know you want one. :)
