Well, I was there in just for that evening in either 1967 or 1968. So much was happening in my life back then it's difficult to recall it all in chronological order.
My family and I stayed at a Ramada Inn there in '95. The motel was nice, but it was the only place I've ever stayed with armed guards walking the hallways. Got a good pizza up the road, though.
